Hilde Maelstaf joined AEIDL when it was established in 1988. As a permanent employee for several years, she was responsible for numerous activities related to local development. Her duties included responding to requests (search for partners, exchange of best practices…) from various organizations involved in territorial development, the environment and the inclusion of disadvantaged people.
She now specialises in the provision of technical assistance to local development projects located in Central and Eastern Europe. She provides training sessions on European policies for SMEs, the creation and support of business incubators, etc., intended for local stakeholders (business leaders, regional development agencies, elected officials, students, etc.).
